Temple of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona: the eternal building of an architectural marvel

There was a time when a whole people could devote their lives, their children and the children's children to lift a monument to their religion. The Church of the Holy Family is a Catholic basilica in Barcelona (Spain), designed by the architect Antoni Gaudi. Initiated in 1882, still under construction (January 2013). It is the masterpiece of Gaudi, and the greatest exponent of Catalan modernist architecture. According to data from 2011, is the most visited monument in Spain, with 3.2 million visitors.

To visit: The Sagrada Familia opens to the public between 9:00 and 18:00 in winter and between 9:00 and 20:00 in summer. Visitor access is in Sardinia Street.
